”Follow your dream & you will always be happy” has always been my moto in life, my dream being, to have my own family business.
So 32 years ago I started my little mobile hair & beauty business. I whizzed about in my blue escort with my “Looks hair ‘n beauty” magnetic stickers on, all dolled up to the 9’s, high heels, hairdryer & mobile massage couch in hand. I drummed up business preening & pampering all around the local area & proved to be very successful at it.
I next dreamt of a husband & a mighty fine one he is indeed.
My dream of a salon was beckoning so “Trim ‘n Tonic” was born a small salon in Coventry.
But the most amazing dream of all was to happen next & have a family. I stopped dreaming for a while & got on with life, admittedly I did have a few night mares on the way.
20 years ago a new dream began, a new journey, I joined forces with my Mum, Dad & sister in law Jess & opened a salon above their Deli “Cheese ‘n Chives” in Builth Wells.
12 years ago I moved downstairs and opened a new business amalgamating ladies clothes, gifts, accessories, hairdressing & beauty, “Beautifully Bonkers” was born. Mum & Jess joined forces with me & together we produced an interesting quirky shop & salon loved & visited by all.
Since then we have added another family member Georgie my daughter & another business “Georgie Porgies Coffee Stop”
Another dream come true & feeling very happy.
